of hiphop emissaries, including Method Man, Common and Big Daddy Kane,

question put to them by music journalist Sidney (Sanaa Lathan). Hip-hop
is Sidney's lifeblood, and she takes us back to the defining moment
during the 80s when she heard street MCs for the first time. This was
also when she began a lifelong friendship with fellow devotee Dre (Taye
Diggs), who's now working for a hiphop record label in New York. Moving
to a new job as a magazine editor in New York City, Sidney is reunited
with Dre, whose idealist dreams of being a hip-hop producer are fading
in the light of commercialism. Luckily he's got Sidney to put him back
on track, even if their friendship makes his fiancée (Nicole Ari
Parker) jealous. |

school and Harry, who previously has been home schooled by his mother

conveniently lives in the school’s basement with his adoptive
dad/school custodian Ray (Luis Guzman), turns out to be just the guy.

With the recent publication of her long-in-the-works book, Mary feels demands outside the home taking away as much time as Tom's new job does, so the two are forced to try to find new ways of parenting their massive tribe, but they find their parenting styles aren't always completely compatible.

The Waves). Lars von Trier’s latest
fable of revenge and cruelty marks the first in his U,S and
A trilogy. Set against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains in the
1930s, Nicole Kidman plays Grace, a beautiful fugitive who persuades
the townspeople of Dogville, to hide her, however the town’s act of
kindness comes at a high price. Shot entirely in a studio with few
props, von Trier's style pays homage to Bertold Brecht's theatre as
well as televised theatre productions from the 1970s.

Katrin Sass, Maria Simon. D: Wolfgang Becker. From the producer of “Run Lola Run”, with the
music composed by Yann Tiersen (Amélie) comes this moving comedy about a staunch,
socialist mother in East Germany, who falls into a coma in October 1989
and wakes up eight months later. In the meantime, the Berlin Wall has
crumbled, communism has fallen and her daughter is now working at the
local Burger King ! Her son, advised by physicians that the shock of
the monumental changes may be too much for her, decides to fool her
into believing that the old GDR still exists and that communism has
triumphed over the West. Although a sharp, political satire, the heart
of the story is the tender relationship between mother and son and how
he will go to any lengths to protect her. |

Unable to sleep, Bob and Charlotte cross paths one night in the luxury hotel bar. This chance meeting soon becomes a surprising friendship. Charlotte and Bob venture through Tokyo, having often hilarious encounters with its citizens, and ultimately discover a new belief in life’s possibilities.

Grant's
sister, and Rickman will play her husband. Neeson has a story of his
own
involving his relationship with a young stepson. Atkinson has a
two-scene cameo.

This comedy takes a riotous look at small town English country life centered around competing funeral homes. Boris Plotz, Director of Plotz Funeral Homes, dreamed of only two things as a young boy... dancing and Betty. Betty secretly loved Boris, but could not fight her father's wishes, so she was married off to a gold digger. Boris gave up his dreams and took over the family's undertaking business. Everything has remained status quo in their lives until Betty's mother-in-law dies. Boris and Betty are thrust together again and as they discuss the funeral arrangements for Betty's mother-in-law, the old spark is rekindled. Her funeral will be held at Plotz Funeral Homes, much to the chagrin of rival funeral director, Frank Featherbed. |

the height of the festive holiday season and merry shoppers have begun
their yearly pilgrimages to their local malls. Among the drove is a
pair of con men, on a decadent road trip as Santa and his elf. Rather
than spreading good cheer, the duo's motive is to rob each
establishment, a strategy that becomes complicated when they encounter
a precocious 8-year old that teaches them the true meaning of Christmas.

forty-year old artist struggling with the break up of her marriage, and
Joe (Bobby Cannavale) a thirty-year-old with a talent for cooking and
an insatiable hunger for conversation - whether anyone wants to talk to
him or not.

afternoon of July 1, 1981, Los Angeles police responded to a distress
call at 8763 Wonderland Avenue in Laurel Canyon and discovered a grisly
quadruple homicide. Ron Launius (Lucas), Billy Deverell (Nelson),
Barbara Richardson (Wagner) and Joy Miller (Garofalo) were found
brutally murdered, bludgeoned to death with a pipe, and Launius's wife,
Susan (Applegate), was left in critical condition. The police
investigation that followed--led by detectives Sam Nico (Levine), Louis
Cruz (Frankie G.) and Mike Peters (Gainey)--would unearth a seedy world
of drugs and violence, ultimately revealing a motley crew from L.A.'s
underbelly including ex-con David Lind (McDermott), nightclub
impresario Eddie Nash (Bogosian), and porn legend John Holmes (Kilmer)
as well as Holmes's estranged wife Sharon (Kudrow) and his teenage
